Who we work with

At Premiership Rugby, we work with numerous organisations and stakeholders in order to deliver our leagues, competitions and programmes.

Firstly, we work side-by-side with our stakeholder clubs. Premiership Rugby is responsible for, and responsible to, our clubs.

We also work closely with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Rugby Players Association (RPA). The RFU and Premiership Rugby signed a partnership in 2016, the Professional Game Agreement, which enshrines certain regulations and provides a structure for relations through to 2024. The Professional Game Group meets regularly to discuss issues and work together towards the best, long-term interests of the game in England.

We have two host TV broadcasters in the UK: BT Sport and Channel 5. We work closely with BT Sport to deliver innovative and accessible coverage of the league competition. BT Sport airs up to 69 matches per season.

Since autumn 2017, BT Sport have been joined by Channel 5. Channel 5 air a weekly highlights programme and will broadcast a number of live matches during the 2017-18 season. We also have a host broadcaster agreement for radio: BBC Five Live.

In addition, we work with a number of international TV broadcasters. Through their commitment to Premiership Rugby, our competitions are broadcast in over 200 countries. You can find out more about our international broadcasters by clicking here [insert link to international broadcasters page].

To deliver our community programmes, events and promotional activities, we work a range of public, private and charitable sector partners.
