Gilbert Golden Boot

Gilbert Golden Boot

When it comes to the crunch in Gallagher Premiership Rugby, it is often the goal kickers that make all the difference. They have huge pressure on their shoulders – their attempts at goal can be the difference between victory and defeat.

But with the glory of a successful kick comes the extra bonus – moving up the Gilbert Golden Boot standings. The Golden Boot is awarded to the highest scoring kicker in Galllagher Premiership Rugby, and has been won by some major names.

Last years’ winner Owen Farrell helped Saracens all the way to the League title, while other former winners include England star George Ford, Australian legend Michael Lynagh, Gareth Steenson and Jimmy Gopperth.

The race for the boot is well underway…
