But with the glory of a successful kick comes the extra bonus – moving up the Gilbert Golden Boot standings. The Golden Boot is awarded to the highest scoring kicker in Galllagher Premiership Rugby, and has been won by some major names.
Last years’ winner Owen Farrell helped Saracens all the way to the League title, while other former winners include England star George Ford, Australian legend Michael Lynagh, Gareth Steenson and Jimmy Gopperth.
